PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (Astra Otoparts) is the largest and foremost automotive component group of company in Indonesia, producing and distributing a wide variety of two-wheeler and four-wheeler spare parts. The Company’s largest market segment is the automotive manufacturers market (OEM/Original Equipment for Manufacturer) and the replacement market (REM). Currently, Astra Otoparts Group consists of 7 business units, 14 consolidated subsidiaries, 18 associates and jointly controlled entities, 2 cost companies, as well as 11 active sub-subsidiary companies, which supported by 37,754 employees.

In order to expand its capacity, build competencies and increase competitiveness in the global market, the Company established strategic alliances by setting up joint venture companies together with leading component suppliers from Japan, Europe, USA, China, and Taiwan, such as Aisin Seiki, Aisin Takaoka, Akashi Kikai Seisakusho, Akebono Brake, Aktiebolaget SKF, Asano Gear, Daido Steel, Denso, DIC Corporation, GS Yuasa, Juoku Technology, Kayaba, Keihin Seimitsu Kogyo, Mahle, Metalart, NHK Precision, Nippon Gasket, Nittan Valve, Pirelli, Sunfun Chain, Toyoda Gosei, Toyota Industries, and Visteon.

In manufacturing business, Astra Otoparts has 4 business units, 12 consolidated subsidiaries, 18   associates and jointly controlled entities, 2 cost companies, as well as 11 active sub-subsidiary  companies. The Company’s component products and its assemblies are directly distributed to OEM and REM markets both domestic and abroad through Astra Otoparts’ trading business units. The leading   automotive manufacturers which become customers of the Company include Toyota, Daihatsu, Isuzu, UD Trucks, Chevrolet, Hino, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Perodua, and Suzuki for four-wheelers; and Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and TVS for two-wheelers.

In trading business, Astra Otoparts has domestic business unit, international business unit, and retail   business unit that distributes automotive components to the replacement market. The Company has the largest domestic distribution network, covering 50 main dealers, 23 sales offices, and 12,000 spare parts retailers throughout Indonesia. The Company’s products not only mastered the domestic market but also have expanded into more than 30 countries in the Middle East, Asia Oceania, Africa, Europe, and America, including a representative office in Dubai.

Since 1998, Astra Otoparts developed the first modern automotive retail network in Indonesia with a   business franchise concept that focuses on fast moving parts, quick service, and related services. This retail network that known with brand Shop&Drive continues to grow until the end of 2014, and it already has more than 300 outlets spread across the island of Java, Bali, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi.
